Watch on LoomThe result you want
Turn one Product into several music-led ad directions, choose the concepts worth producing, and generate videos you can review. Stefan’s workflow separates two jobs: use Chat to develop the concepts and briefs, then use VideoGen to make the videos. Review the result before spending more video minutes on variations.Practical use cases
Find a new way to present your Product
Compare song concepts built around different buyer situations before choosing which ones to produce.
Turn a written idea into a clear brief
Define the singer, scene, musical direction, and Product details so the video has a coherent story.
Fix a promising video
Identify the specific mismatch—such as the wrong singer or Product color—before revising the prompt and generating again.
Before you start
Choose one Product and have its page URL, audience, offer, and visual references ready. Check details that need to appear on screen, including packaging and the color of the Product itself. From Home, open Products and create or select the Product you want to advertise. Check the saved information against the source. For ideation, open Chat and select the Product or provide its URL and brief. Keep the chosen concept and complete prompt together when moving to Videos.1
Ask for a broad set of song concepts
Start with concepts rather than a batch of generated videos. You can compare ideas in text before choosing what to produce. In Stefan’s example, the directions include a slow jam about a couple, a workday rock anthem, and a country concept built around dust and grime. The useful difference is the situation and story—not only the genre label. Pick concepts that fit your audience and give the Product a clear role.
2
Turn selected concepts into generation-ready briefs
Develop the shortlist before copying anything into VideoGen. Decide whether you want to provide the lyrics or let the video generation create them from the concept.Use this request to get a brief you can paste directly:For a looser treatment, ask for the concept without fixed lyrics. Stefan tries both approaches. Choose based on whether the exact wording matters.Keep the duration in the brief, but leave out second-by-second timestamps. Stefan uses this approach to avoid over-directing the cuts.
3
Resolve who is singing
Read the lyrics and scene description together. A line from a girlfriend’s perspective should not silently switch to her partner halfway through.Use a correction like this before generation:If you deliberately want a duet, identify each singer’s lines instead. Also check the physical action: where is the Product used, what does it look like, and what should remain consistent across scenes?
4
Set up the video
Open Videos on the main StefanBrain site and paste one selected brief into the generation prompt.
- Product: select the Product the ad is for.
- Duration: match the intended length of the brief. Stefan uses 45- and 60-second examples.
- Style: choose the visual look, such as Paper.
- Format: choose Music Video for the music-video treatment.
- PromptMax: open the composer’s Settings gear and check that it is enabled for Stefan’s demonstrated setup.
5
Review the result before making more
Play the complete video and compare it with the brief:Generate again only when the revised brief addresses the issue you saw. A revision still needs another playback check. For the singing-villain concept, Stefan also tries the Songs format instead of Music Video after the first result misses the performance he wanted.
In the working session, Stefan spots changing singers, inconsistent characters, and the wrong Product color. He goes back to the prompt with specific corrections. For a visual mismatch, update the whole brief so the next generation receives the correction:

Choose the version to use
After generation, use the output menu to choose Original, Captions, or Expressive. Watch the selected version before downloading it.If the automatic captions contain mistakes or distract from the ad, use the original and add corrected captions in your editing workflow.Keep the chosen prompt with the finished video so you can identify what produced that version. Stop at a reviewed, downloaded creative; launching ads is a separate workflow.
