What this article shows you

Use CRO Funnel Review to find potential A/B tests across a public funnel. StefanBrain follows the reachable path, captures evidence, and turns the strongest observations into test opportunities.

Practical use cases

Find tests before sending more traffic

Review the mobile or desktop journey and turn visible friction into a pre-launch test plan.

Investigate a weak funnel step

Focus on the page or decision where your data suggests visitors may be dropping, then compare the report with your measured results.

Compare a Meta ad with its destination

Start from a Facebook or Meta Ad Library link and compare the ad promise, video, and call to action with the reachable post-click funnel.

Build an A/B test backlog

Convert the strongest findings into proposed changes, evidence, success metrics, and the next information needed.

Reverse-engineer competitor funnels

Study how competitors or strong funnels in another niche structure their ads, pages, offers, and transitions, then extract patterns to test.

Capture a long quiz funnel

Follow a multi-step quiz, create a report of the full captured path, and save the useful questions, transitions, and page patterns as a swipe.

How it works

CRO Funnel Review accepts one public landing-page URL or one Meta Ad Library URL per run. Choose Mobile or Desktop, then tell StefanBrain what decision you want the review to support. The run follows reachable public interactions, captures page evidence, and stops at a payment boundary, terminal page, blocked path, or crawl limit. Choose the entry point that fits the source:

Before you start

Prepare:
  • One stable public http or https URL that does not require a login.
  • The intended visitor device.
  • The decision you want to make, such as message match, offer clarity, quiz friction, or test prioritization.
  • Any analytics you want to use after the review to rank the findings.

Start from Chat

CRO Funnel Review adds a device choice directly beside the selected tool.

2

Ask for the outcome you need

Use one URL and a focused request:
For an ad-to-page review, use the Meta Ad Library link as the target:
3

Follow the run

Send the request. The progress feed shows the review moving through planning, traversal, evidence extraction, and synthesis.Keep the current run open instead of submitting the same target again.
4

Check the capture before the findings

Confirm the device, captured step count, final URL, and stop reason. Open the evidence attached to important findings.Use conclusions only for the steps StefanBrain captured. If the run stopped early, the report can still support tests for those captured pages.

Start from Creative Strategist

Use this path when you are already reviewing an ad, especially a video ad.
1

Open the ad

Select Creative Strategist, confirm the source and account, then open the ad you want to review.
2

Start the CRO review

Select CRO. StefanBrain carries the selected ad into a Chat-backed review. If the ad needs a destination, enter its public Landing page URL, then select Start CRO review. If video evidence is still being prepared, wait and retry the same action.
3

Open the completed result

Review CRO Funnel Review - Ad to Checkout. Select Open chat when you want the full report, evidence, or a follow-up.

Turn the report into tests

For each useful finding, keep four things separate: Then ask StefanBrain to organize the findings:
For a competitor or quiz-funnel review, ask for a separate swipe report before adapting anything:

Common mistakes and troubleshooting

Remove extra links and run one target at a time. One Meta Ad Library URL counts as the target because the review resolves its destination.
Start a new run and choose Mobile or Desktop explicitly.
Check the final URL and stop reason. Use the captured evidence, then confirm that the next page is public and reachable before trying again.
Move it to Needs evidence, inspect adjacent frames, or ask StefanBrain to restate it as an inference.
Restate the visitor, business decision, page focus, and output you need. Ask for a small number of testable changes.
