# Fix sign-in problems or missing account access

> Get help when you cannot sign in or cannot see your expected team or paid access.

If you cannot sign in, or your team or paid access is missing, first check your email and sign-in method. You may be using a different account.

## Check that you are signing in to the right account

1. Open [StefanBrain](https://stefanbrain.com/chat).
2. Use the sign-in method you used when creating your account.
3. If an account chooser appears, select the intended work account.
4. For a team invitation, use the email address the invitation was sent to.

If you can sign in but your team or expected access is missing, ask the team owner to confirm the invitation email. Do not create another account or buy another subscription to resolve an account mismatch.

## If sign-in keeps failing

* Follow any recovery option offered on the sign-in screen.
* Save the exact error message.
* Try a fresh browser window if an old session keeps selecting the wrong account.
* If a link or code is rejected, follow the sign-in screen's instructions for obtaining a new one.

Do not share sign-in links or codes with another person.

## Contact support

Email [support@stefanbrain.com](mailto:support@stefanbrain.com) with:

* The email address you are trying to use.
* Whether the problem is signing in, joining a team, or accessing a paid account.
* The exact error and approximately when it happened.
* Your browser and device type.

A screenshot can help, but hide private messages, sign-in codes, and payment details. Never send your password. Support does not need your full browser history or a recording of you entering credentials.
