# Invite teammates and manage team access

> Add teammates, review their permissions, and remove team access when someone leaves.

Add teammates to StefanBrain, review who has access, and remove members when they leave. **Team owners and team admins** can manage membership. Members should ask their team owner for changes.

## Practical use cases

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Bring in a teammate" icon="user-plus">Give a new colleague access under the correct work email so they can join your team's work.</Card>
  <Card title="Change responsibilities" icon="users">Review access when someone moves between clients or tasks so they can reach the resources they need.</Card>
  <Card title="Offboard a colleague" icon="user-minus">Remove membership and review external connections when someone leaves the team.</Card>
</CardGroup>

## Invite a teammate

  </Step>

  <Step title="Start the invitation">

  </Step>

  <Step title="Send the invitation">
    Enter the teammate's name and work email, then select **Invite**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Join with the invited email">
    Ask them to use that email when accepting the invitation.
  </Step>
</Steps>

If all included seats are in use, review the available plan options or contact support before inviting another person.

## Check team access and shared connectors

Check the person's entry in Team settings. Give management access only to people who need to manage the team.

Team membership and connector sharing are separate. For a specific company connection, its owner controls who can use it and which actions are allowed. See [Share connectors with your team](/knowledge-base/connectors-automations/share-connectors-with-your-team).

## Remove a team member

Open the person's entry and use the removal control available to your role. Check the person's identity before confirming.

Removing team membership is not a substitute for reviewing access in external services. If the departing person owns a shared connection, plan how your team will keep access to that service.

If the invitation fails or the expected controls are missing, email [support@stefanbrain.com](mailto:support@stefanbrain.com) with your sign-in email and the error. Do not send a full team roster or private invitation links.
