# Fix a connector that stopped working

> Reconnect an account so StefanBrain can access your files, reports, or ad data again.

If a connector stops working, StefanBrain may be unable to read the files, reports, or ad data your task needs. Check the connected account, then reconnect it if needed.

## Find the connector that needs attention

Open **Connectors** and select the account used by your Chat. Confirm it is the account that contains the files, reports, or advertising data you need.

If the connection belongs to a teammate, ask its owner to repair it. Being able to use a shared connection does not let you reconnect or disconnect it.

## Reconnect your account

1. As the connection owner, select **Reconnect** when it appears.
2. Sign in to the intended account with that service.
3. Review the requested permissions and finish authorization.
4. Return to StefanBrain and repeat a small read-only request, such as listing the files or campaigns you need.

If access works but a specific item is still missing, check that the connected account can open that item in the original service.

Do not disconnect a shared account as your first troubleshooting step. Disconnecting removes the connection and its team share.

## If a teammate cannot use the shared connector

The owner should check **Team access**, the teammate's inclusion, and the relevant tool permissions. Follow [Share connectors with your team](/knowledge-base/connectors-automations/share-connectors-with-your-team).

## Still stuck?

Email [support@stefanbrain.com](mailto:support@stefanbrain.com) with the service name, exact error, and whether you own the connection or use a shared one. Hide private account details in screenshots. Never send passwords, access tokens, or sign-in codes.
